Produced by GNC and marketed as Herbal Clean, the Q Carbo 32 is a detox drink that’s meant to cleanse the body of chemical compounds left behind by marijuana. Since GNC is such a trusted brand, many have gone on the record to claim this is the most effective product out there. Still, the detox process of this drink may not be everything the brand makes it out to be.

It incorporates a concoction of natural herbs that are meant to trigger the detox process. More specifically, to remove toxins that typically show up on your standard drug test. These ingredients include:

• Alfalfa leaf extract
• Apple pectin
• Burdock root extract
• Cayenne pepper
• Cornsilk extract
• Creatine Monohydrate
• Dandelion root extract
• Echinacea purpurea leaf extract
• Guarana seed extract
• Juniper berry extract
• Licorice root extract
• Ligustrum berry extract
• Maltodextrin
• Milk thistle seed extract
• Psyllium seed husk
• Triphala fruit extract
• Turmeric root extract
• Uva Ursi leaf extract

Admittedly, studies have shown that some of these ingredients are effective in removing toxins. For example, turmeric and cayenne pepper have been found to act as an antioxidant. Small amounts of juniper berries were found to improve liver function and, in turn, remove toxins. And alfalfa leaves may help to increase the effectiveness of your kidneys.

But the real question is how effective are these ingredients for removing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)?

Upon drinking Q Carbo 32, your body will be filled with antioxidants. These will effectively target free radicals within your bloodstream and remove them. Most of this process happens in the liver, an organ the Q Carbo has the objective of stimulating. From there, kidney functions may also increase which helps to clean out filtered toxins.

Since all this is happening through a natural process, it could take days or weeks to completely flush out your system. So, while this isn’t an overnight cure, it does come with the benefit that you’re not putting more toxins into your body. But in order to garner this effectiveness, you must follow specific instructions.

As mentioned, there are differing opinions on the effectiveness of Q Carbo. However, these differences may come down to the fact that not everyone is using it properly. For this reason, we’ve laid out clear instructions on how the product should be incorporated:

1. Do not take any substance 48 hours before your scheduled drug test.
2. Consume the entire Q Carbo drink on an empty stomach. The best time to do this is early in the morning.
3. Before consuming, make sure to shake the body well. On top of this, make sure the whole bottle is consumed in 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Once emptied, refill the bottle with water. Then consume the entirety of that water within a half hour.
5. For the next hour, try to urinate as much as possible. Furthermore, it’s worth continuing to drink water in order to encourage urination.

It’s difficult to determine how long beforehand you should consume Q Carbo. As mentioned, this isn’t an overnight cure. If you begin the detox process about a week before the drug test, you’re giving yourself the best chances. Still, even with such a timeframe, it remains in your interest to consume Q Carbo no less than 7 or so hours before the test.

If you use the QCarbo32 properly, it can be an effective measure of removing THC toxins from your body. However, if not used properly, this is going to appear a large waste of money.
