Rumor has it that the Trainwreck strain was developed by two California Brothers in the late 1970s. The story goes that a trainwreck happened near the grow site these brothers had. Being the risk they felt in the operation being found, they pulled the crop early.

- Afghani (Indica)

These effects are partly due to the strain’s terpene profile. The most notable of these is Humulene (an isomer of beta-caryophyllene) which makes up about 55% of that profile. This is followed by:

That said, if you’re growing indoors, it’s important to ensure it has the potential to reach such lengths.
Indoor grow environments tend to provide cultivators with high yields – usually, up to 18 ounces of flower per square meter. However, outdoor grows are more likely to provide you with higher yields – up to 25 ounces per plant.
Trainwreck grows best in humidity levels of 80% in order to prevent mold and mildew. While the plant can grow in a wide range of temperatures, it tends to prefer 65 to 85°F (18.33 to 29.44°C).
Finally, the flowering stage of the strain’s growth cycle will occur between 8 to 10 weeks after planting.
